NORFOLK, Va. – Rider Odom was named the MAISA Sports Person of the Year, while Odom and Parker Purrington earned second team All-MAISA honors, the MAISA announced on Wednesday.
Odom and Purrington have each been four-year starters for the Monarchs as skippers, helping ODU to a 13^th place finish at last year’s open western semifinals.
This year, the Monarchs qualified as an at-large entry into the open semifinals which commence on May 24-25 in Boston, Massachusetts.
