EAST LIVERPOOL — Columbiana scored nine runs in the first three innings and held off East Liverpool for an 11-5 win on Saturday.
For Columbiana, Anthony Hall had a single, double and three RBIs from the ninth position in the order. Dylan Hogan and Avery Young had doubles. Ian Less had a triple.
Sam Inboden got the win with two strikeouts and four walks in five innings.
For East Liverpool, Anderson Fitch had a three-run homer. Eli Suznevich had a double and also took the loss on the mound as he struck out eight and walked three in six innings.
Columbiana welcomes Wellsville today.

Girard 7, Salem 6
SALEM — Down by six in the sixth inning, Salem’s comeback bid came up short in a 7-6 loss to Girard on Saturday.
The Quakers rallied with five runs in the bottom of the seventh but it wasn’t enough.
Trenton McCoy had three hits and an RBI for the Quakers. Lance Bailey added two hits as did Carson Rhodes.
McCoy took the loss with six strikeouts and three walks in five innings.
Salem is 5-4 and hosts Marlington on Tuesday.

Lisbon 9, Leetonia 1
NILES — Brady Carpenter tallied 14 strikeouts and one walk while limiting Leetonia to one hit in a 9-1 Lisbon win on Saturday at Eastwood Field.
Gage Owen and Logan Sturgeon had two hits and an RBI each for the Devils.
Ryan Carpenter and Devin Kelly had doubles.
Ryan Bulford took the loss with four strikeouts and three walks in six innings.
Lisbon (5-5) is at Heartland today.

Beaver Local 8, Struthers 5
STRUTHERS –Micah Jones had two doubles and a single with an RBI as Beaver Local secured an 8-5 victory over Struthers on Saturday.
Braxton Hickman had a double, single and three RBIs.
Evan Stephenson added two hits and two RBIs.
Paxton Grimes got the win with three strikeouts and two walks in four innings.
Beaver Local is 4-7.

Newton Falls 3
NEWTON FALLS — Drew Gault had a single, double and an RBI as Heartland secured a 4-3 win over Newton Falls on Saturday.
Will Morgan had two hits to aid the Heartland attack. Christian Hamilton got the win for the Lions as he struck out two and walked two in 5 1/3 innings.
Heartland is 4-7 and hosts Lisbon today.

Wellsville
at Madonna (DH)
WEIRTON, W.Va. — Weirton Madonna dispatched Wellsville 18-0 and 18-1 on Saturday.
Wellsville was no-hit in the first game. Nate McGraw took the loss with nine walks and a strikeouts in 2 1/3 of an inning.
Zavri Morris and Jay Paige had hits for Wellsville. Cooper Frank took the loss as he gave up four runs in 1/3 of an inning while walking five and striking out none.

West Branch 11, Twinsburg 10
BELOIT — Aaron Tucker’s RBI double in the bottom of the seventh lifted West Branch to a 11-10 win over Twinsburg on Saturday.
Tucker ended the day with four hits and two RBIs. Beau Alazaus added two doubles, a single and three RBIs. Gavin Bell had two doubles, a single and an RBI.
West Branch had a 10-0 lead after the first inning, but Twinsburg managed to tie it in the seventh. Jaxon Robb got the win by throwing a third of an inning in relief.
West Branch is 12-3 and hosts Carrollton on Tuesday.
