Baltimore Lacrosse Co., in conjunction with Inside Lacrosse, is excited to announce the creation of a new event to punctuate the summer.
The Last Call, set for July 20-21 at Liberty Sports Park in Upper Marlboro, Md., will feature an individual showcase for players in the Class of 2025 with a special eye toward those aspiring to play at the Division III level, as well as a tournament for club teams in the classes of 2026 and ’27.
In recent years, the second-last weekend in July has proven to be one of the most definitive for coaches looking to make their final evaluations before the August dead period and Sept. 1, the date of first contact for high school juniors and Division I coaches.
Given how the sport has grown over the last decade, how competitive each division of college lacrosse has become and how recruiting has changed since the advent of the NCAA Transfer Portal, The Last Call is meant to serve a unique  type of recruit. Quality players come from everywhere, end up at every program and emerge via a variety of paths. How many players missed out on an opportunity because of an injury during their rising junior summer and could use one last opportunity before senior year begins? How many rising juniors struggled early in the summer and hit their stride after the July 4 Dead Period? The Last Call is a great option for players like that, and more.
