The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center high school Athlete of the Week voting occurs each week during high school sports competition and recognizes athletes across all sports.

High school sports:2022-23 Athletes of the week
Once athletes win during the regular season, they’re not eligible to be back on the ballot until the postseason. If athletes haven’t won in the regular season, they can be nominated more than once.

Kara Bergeron, Granville track and field: Ran a Newark Invitational record 11:23.75 in the 3,200 meters, beating the old mark of 11:31 set in 2018 by Big Walnut’s Cobi Borland. Bergeron won the race by 37 seconds.
Mya Duncan, Hilliard Darby lacrosse: A goalie, she had 12 saves in an 8-1 loss to Hilliard Davidson and 14 saves in a 9-5 win over Hilliard Bradley. She has more than 500 saves in her high school career.  
Dorian Hamilton, Pickerington North baseball: In four games, had a 500 batting average (6 for 12), including three singles, three home runs and seven RBIs. In one game, went 3 for 4 wit three home runs and seven RBIs, including a sixth-inning grand slam to take the lead for good.
Zach McClements, Dublin Jerome baseball: Went 8 for 11 in three games, batting .727 with two triples, a double, six RBIs and three runs scored.
Erin O’Grady, Hilliard Davidson softball: Batted .750 in 12 at-bats in three games with a .786 on-base percentage and 1.083 slugging percentage. She has nine hits (including two triples) and nine RBIs and has scored five runs.  A second baseman, she has a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage with nine catches, three assists and six putouts. 
Lydia Rauch, Licking Heights softball: Had four hits in a 17-4 victory over Utica and was 4 for 4 in an 8-6 win over Canal Winchester.
