I was amused to read Geoff Grammer’s headline sports column in (Thursday’s) paper regarding comments from Coach Pitino about his commitment to UNM: Remind me, where have I heard this before? Pitino could do standup comedy for a living. Coachspeak like this would resonate more with me coming from someone like Mark Few (25 years at Gonzaga) or from our very own within the Mountain West — Leon Rice at Boise State (14 years).
