Trustee Dan Hoeh suggested Riebow determine 3 potential locations outside the building for the board to consider.
“For state approval, would they have to decide what is appropriate as far as location?” trustee Kelly Cushway asked.
Attorney Rob Thall told the board in terms of location he doesn’t believe the state would weigh in on where the ballot box is located.
“It will have to have a camera on it, but where you locate it, I don’t think the state will care about that,” Thall said. “I think what he (Hoeh) is looking for is just for the clerk to bring back some options for where it could be located.”
