NEW YORK, October 24, 2023–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Evercore ISI was ranked No. 1 among all firms for analysts on a weighted basis in Institutional Investor’s All-America Equity Research survey for the second consecutive year. This overall rank is determined by applying the greatest weight to the highest-ranked individuals in each category.
Evercore ISI has the most No. 1 ranked analysts for the first time this year with 15, including five new top analysts. Additionally, six analysts ranked in the top three or as runner-up for the first time in new or additional sectors.
Evercore ISI Founder and Chairman Ed Hyman was again awarded the No. 1 position in the economics sector, a recognition he has earned 43 times over the 50-year history of the survey. The 2023 All-America Research Team named by Institutional Investor reflects the opinions of more than 4,200 investment professionals from over 1,600 asset management firms and institutions, according to the magazine.
"It is great to see the continued recognition that our team receives,’’ Mr. Hyman said. "It’s always a competitive field, and everyone tries very hard to win. But through teamwork, hard work and our unwavering focus on helping our clients, we continue to show success in the Institutional Investor survey. Most importantly, we thank our clients for their support and partnership."
Mike Paliotta, CEO of Evercore ISI, said, "Ed built this business on high-quality research and excellent client service, and our entire team is dedicated to these principles. We continue to invest in our product and service offering and are very proud of our Research, Sales and Trading professionals who deliver for our clients every day. We thank our clients for this recognition."
"Providing the highest-quality research and independent thinking to our investor clients has always been a pillar of our business," added Marc Harris, Evercore ISI Director of Research. "For the first time, we have the most No. 1-ranked analysts on Wall Street. Furthermore, we increased the number of sectors in which our analysts ranked to 45, which shows our continued commitment to hiring, developing and supporting the best talent on the Street."
Evercore Chairman and CEO John Weinberg said, "We thank our clients for this tremendous recognition and for their partnership. The outstanding results from Institutional Investor are a testament to the quality of our team and the commitment they bring to both the research product and to client service."
