Fishing boat from Pakistan enters 15 km inside Indian waters on Arabian Sea, ICG apprehends 13 crew members – The Indian Express

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has intercepted a Pakistani fishing trawler with 13 crew members on board who were brought to the shore and are now being interrogated.
A statement said ICGS Arinjay while patrolling in the Arabian sea spotted the Pakistani boat fishing about 15 km inside Indian waters near the International Maritime Boundary Line on Tuesday (November 21).
“On being challenged, the boat started to flee towards the Pakistan side; however, the ICG ship intercepted the boat and stopped them in the Indian waters,” the statement said. The boat, Naz-Re-Karam, had left Karachi on November 19 with a 13-member crew.
“Fishing by the boat in the area could not be explained and justified by the crew and the boat is being brought to the Okha harbour for thorough rummaging and joint interrogation by all agencies,” the ICG statement said.
